NLI and POVN (Pend Oreille Valley Network) have formed an alliance to offer Internet Service (called norlight.org) to NLI Members.

• Users must be able to dial Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry, Oldtown or Priest River toll-free
• An initial $15 set-up fee will be charged (set-up fee will be waived for current POVN customers)
• Monthly fee for Internet Service is billed in advance on your NLI bill and refunds will be made to accounts for circumstances where customer has been unable to use the service due to problems with the POVN server
• You may have up to 5 email address at no extra cost
• 5 mb of web space included in monthly fee

   NLI AND POVN LAUNCH HIGH SPEED INTERNET DIAL UP SERVICE:
   NLI is offering high speed dial-up internet service for $22.00 a month through
 POVN. Regular dial-up service is still $19 per month. This service features web acceleration up to 10 times normal dial-up speed,  spy ware and ad ware blocking, email accelerator, pop-Up blocker, ad blocker, parental controls.

High speed dial-up is a good option for internet clients who live in areas where DSL is not available or for whom DSL is too expensive. High speed dial-up is an acceleration system that speeds up html pages. The new version also blocks spy ware, pop-ups, pop-unders and banner ads as well as offers parental controls, which allow members to choose what website to permit each child to visit or to restrict each child from visiting while leaving full privileges for the adult user. Transfer Switch Rebates
To assure the safety of our Linemen, Northern Lights is offering a $50.00 energy credit to NLI members when they have a Transfer Switch installed by a licensed electrician in conjunction with a generator system. To receive your energy credit, send us a copy of your electrical permit and receipt from a licensed electrician for transfer switch installation.
